L2 Network Engineer - Routing & Switching

Role & responsibilities : We are looking for experienced Network Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Implementation and Deployment of enterprise and data center network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience deploying Cisco networking technologies, including Cisco ACI, Routing & Switching, Wireless , and FortiGate/Cisco ASA Firewalls . This role is focused on project implementation, deployment, and configuration . Candidates with primarily Network Operations, NOC, Monitoring, or Production Support backgrounds will not be considered. Mandatory Skills : - Cisco Routing & Switching - Cisco ACI (APIC, Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts) - Cisco Wireless (WLC, Access Points) - FortiGate Firewall and/or Cisco ASA Firewall - Enterprise Data Center Networking - Implementation & Deployment of Network Infrastructure Roles & Responsibilities : - Deploy and implement Cisco Routing & Switching infrastructure in enterprise and data center environments. - Configure and deploy Cisco ACI fabrics, including APIC, Tenants, VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, Contracts, and Fabric Policies. - Install, configure, and deploy Cisco Wireless Controllers (WLC) and Access Points. - Deploy and configure FortiGate and/or Cisco ASA firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPN, and high-availability configurations. - Perform hardware installation, software installation, initial configuration, and commissioning of network devices. - Execute deployment activities based on approved High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. - Validate network configurations and perform post-deployment testing. - Coordinate with project teams to ensure successful implementation within project timelines. - Prepare implementation documentation and deployment reports. - Follow enterprise networking standards and implementation best practices. Mandatory Technical Skills : - Cisco ACI - Cisco Nexus Switches - Cisco Catalyst Switches - Routing Protocols : OSPF, BGP - Layer 2 Technologies : VLAN, STP, EtherChannel - Cisco Wireless (WLC, Access Points) - FortiGate Firewall or Cisco ASA Firewall - LAN/WAN Technologies - Network Configuration and Deployment Preferred Skills : - CCNP Enterprise / Data Center - CCIE Enterprise or Data Center (Preferred) - Fortinet NSE Certifications - Experience working in enterprise or large-scale data center deployment projects. Screening Criteria : Mandatory : - Strong hands-on experience in Network Implementation and Deployment . - Proven experience configuring and deploying Cisco ACI, Routing & Switching, Wireless, and FortiGate/Cisco ASA. - Experience deploying enterprise or data center network infrastructure.
