Job Description

Industry/ Organization Type: Recycling/ Metal Recovery Position Title: Assistant Production Manager Working Location: Tuas (Company transport provided)

Working Hours

5 Days, Monday – Friday (8am – 5pm) Salary Package: Basic Salary + Transport Allowance + AWS + Sign-On Bonus Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Support the Operations Manager in daily production activities, including thermal treatment, chemical leaching, milling, blending, and related processes.

Coordinate workflows across production, engineering, logistics, and chemical leaching teams to maintain smooth operations. Track production output, recovery yields, and process efficiency to meet operational targets. Ensure materials are handled, processed, and stored according to approved SOPs and work instructions.

Assist in troubleshooting process deviations, upsets, and operational issues to restore stable performance. Enforce safe handling procedures for hazardous chemicals and high-value materials, ensuring disciplined compliance on site.

Ensure adherence to workplace safety, health, and environmental (SHE) regulations and company standards. Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis, and support corrective/ preventive action implementation. Promote safety culture through toolbox talks, inspections, and routine safety briefings.

Maintain full traceability and accurate documentation for materials, including verification of sampling, testing, weighing, and inspection activities. Support internal, external, and customer audits, ensuring compliance with policies, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.

Lead and supervise production teams, supporting manpower planning, shift scheduling, task allocation, coaching, and acting as Operations Manager’s delegate when needed. Monitor inventory levels of critical spares, work-in-progress, and finished jobs. Review and update SOPs and work instructions as required. APPLY NOW!!!
