Application Technologist II | Singapore | Full-Time About Advanced Flavors & Fragrances Advanced Flavors & Fragrances is a Singapore-headquartered flavor house serving food and beverage manufacturers across the Asia-Pacific region.

With facilities in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Australia, we offer full in-house creation, analytical, application and manufacturing capabilities, developing flavors from concept through to commercial supply.

Our team includes experienced flavorists, food technologists, and commercial professionals committed to technical excellence and genuine partnership with our clients.

The Role We are hiring an Application Technologist to join our technical team in Singapore.

Reporting to the Technical Manager, you'll work at the intersection of flavor science and food manufacturing, applying flavors into finished food and beverage products, optimizing performance across different matrices, and supporting our clients from concept development through to commercial launch.

Responsibilities

Prepare and evaluate flavor applications across beverage, dairy, bakery, confectionery, savory, and other food categories Develop product prototypes and benchmarking samples for client presentations and trade shows Conduct dosage optimization, stability testing, and shelf-life studies to ensure flavor performance in end-use applications Collaborate with flavorists and the commercial team to translate client briefs into viable product solutions Troubleshoot application challenges related to flavor release, interactions with ingredients, processing conditions, and stability Maintain accurate documentation of trials, formulations, and application guidelines Stay current on food industry trends, new ingredients, and processing technologies relevant to flavor application Support quality and regulatory compliance
