Job Description
Industry/ Organization Type: Construction of Buildings Position Title: Civil & Structural Engineer Working Location: Tuas Working Hours: 5.
5 Days (Mon – Fri, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Alternate Sat, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Salary Package: Basic Salary + Phone Allowance Duration: Permanent Role Key Responsibilities Report to the Manager or Team Leader, as shown in the organizational chart. You will be responsible for completing assigned project tasks.
Study and understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, project scope, contract details, and sub-contract agreements. Work with consultants to resolve any technical issues before construction begins.
Submit your work plans to your superior for feedback and approval and carry out tasks according to the approved schedule. Ensure the work follows the approved drawings, quality procedures, and EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) standards. Focus on keeping the work site clean and organized.
Handle quality management by keeping accurate records, analyzing results, and creating action plans to improve quality. Maintain proper records to meet EHS, quality, client, and regulatory requirements. Manage project costs, ensuring that materials are not damaged, and control wastage within acceptable limits.
Avoid rework or tasks that could cause delays or increased costs. Take on other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager that are needed to complete the project. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned Report to the Manager or Team Leader, as shown in the organizational chart.
