This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep the revenue cycle running smoothly and takes pride in resolving billing issues, improving collections, and ensuring claims are processed accurately. You'll become an important part of a collaborative healthcare team by managing the billing process from claim submission through payment collection while helping maximize the practice's financial performance. Key Responsibilities Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle Management Submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner. Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits. Follow up on unpaid, pending, and denied insurance claims. Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) and reduce outstanding balances. Contact insurance companies regarding claim status, corrections, and appeals. Monitor billing reports and identify opportunities to improve collections. Maintain accurate billing records and documentation. Help ensure timely reimbursement and consistent revenue collection. Administrative Support Assist with incoming phone calls during overflow periods. Support prior authorization requests when needed. Help with general administrative tasks during lighter billing periods. Requirements Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience supporting U.S. healthcare providers. Previous experience working remotely or as a Virtual Assistant is preferred but not required. No medical degree or healthcare license is required. Experience in Psychiatry or Beh
