Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) to work within the hospital with Neuro Diagnostics patients. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 5 years of recent Neuro Diagnostics experience Work Settings: Critical Care and Emergency Department Must have previous Travel/Contract experience Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics Patient Ratio 1:30 Special Procedures: Bronchoscopy Assist, Intubation Assist, Protocol Vent Management, Sputum Induction, Conscious Sedation Monitoring, Bedside Pulmonary Function Testing, Noninvasive ventilation, Neonatal Delivery, Covid Swab collection, ECG testing, Respiratory Medication Delivery, Tracheostomy Management, and Chest Physiotherapy Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Extubating, Intubation Assist, Nasal airway placement/suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oral/Nasal Suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, and Tracheostomy care/management. Medication Administration: Albuterol, Atrovent, Bicarbonate, Inhaled steroids, Preformist, Pulmicort, and Racemic epinephrine. Nebulizer: Handheld, T-piece, Trach collar, and Ultrasonic. Oxygen Therapy: High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) Ventilator Management: BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Special Equipment: Inhaled Nitric Oxide, Tyvaso, Heliox Therapy, Pentamidine Therapy, Surfactant Administration, and Istat Blood Gas Analysis. EMR: Epic experience required Location: Durham, NC Rate: $2,160/weekly (travel rate, must reside >75 miles from facility) $2,052/weekly (local rate, if you reside Shifts Available: Nights: 6:45pm-7:15am, 3x12 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Weekends: every third weekend required Holidays: as needed No Call Credential Requirements: Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment RRT Certified with NBRC (National Board for Respiratory C
