Job Summary A waiter (or food and beverage) supervisor bridges the gap between management and waitstaff. They ensure dining operations run smoothly by training staff, coordinating shifts, maintaining health and safety standards, and stepping in to resolve customer complaints or expedite service during peak hours. Responsibilities Train waitstaff to deliver consistent, high-quality customer service aligned with operational standards Coordinate and schedule staff shifts to optimize coverage and maintain smooth dining operations Monitor and enforce health and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulations and protect guests and staff Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty Support waitstaff during peak hours by expediting service and managing workflow to maintain efficiency
