Join their Housekeeping team and play a key role in maintaining the hotel's exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort. As a Public Area Supervisor, you will oversee the upkeep of all guest-facing and back-of-house public spaces while leading a team to ensure a welcoming, safe, and immaculate environment at all times. Key Responsibilities Public Area Operations Conduct routine inspections of lobbies, corridors, washrooms, event spaces, restaurants, and other public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are consistently met. Monitor the condition of furnishings, fixtures, décor, plants, and public facilities, arranging replacements or corrective actions when required. Ensure both guest-facing and back-of-house areas remain clean, organised, and well-maintained. Coordinate cleaning schedules to support daily operations, special events, and peak guest periods. Team Leadership Assign daily duties and monitor the performance of Public Area Attendants. Provide coaching, on-the-job training, and guidance to maintain service and cleaning standards. Assist with manpower planning, attendance monitoring, and roster preparation. Promote a positive team culture while ensuring staff adhere to grooming and workplace standards. Equipment & Inventory Management Oversee the proper use, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery. Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and ensure adequate stock availability. Ensure chemicals are handled and stored safely in accordance with hotel policies. Report equipment defects and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary. Maintenance Coordination Identify maintenance issues within public areas and liaise with Engineering for timely rectification. Follow up on repair requests to ensure guest-facing
