Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your job responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage grants, assets, inter-funds transfers, and tax reporting to ensure accurate financial administration for the town council Monitor and ensure compliance with financial reporting guidelines to maintain regulatory standards Prepare and review the annual budget to support financial planning and resource allocation Perform budgetary controls and manage arrears to optimize financial performance Prepare financial statements that accurately reflect the town council’s financial position Maintain proper records of financial transactions to uphold strong internal controls Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior to support finance operations Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma / Degree in Accounting / Finance /ACCA with 3 - 5 years of full-set accounting experience Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and meet tight deadlines under pressure Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team Prior supervisory experience and staff management skills are advantageous Availability to start within a short period is preferred Other Information Employment Type: 2-year renewable contract with benefits Working Location: Northwest - Bukit Gombak Work Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Mon-Fri); 8:30 am to 12:30 pm (First Sat of each month) *Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
