38,000+ roles in Singapore, 24,000+ in the UAE — and the skill employers now ask for more than Excel

Every Thursday, ResumeKart looks at what live job listings say about who is hiring across Singapore, the UAE and India — and which roles are worth your time. This is the full report behind this week's newsletter, with more data and the live roles linked.

Where the hiring is

How we count: live listings on ResumeKart on 5 November 2026, rounded down. Figures reflect live listings on ResumeKart. Salaries as advertised; currencies not converted.

The UAE grew fastest this week: its open roles rose by about 16% from last Thursday. Among the most active employers there, Accor and AECOM are each advertising 300+ roles. Singapore added 2,000+ roles. Recruitment firms are the most active posters there, so many Singapore roles reach you through an agency rather than the employer directly. In India, Accenture (600+ roles) and Amazon (200+) are among the most active employers.

Roles worth applying to

Eight roles picked this week across banking, cloud, consulting, construction and risk. Each card opens the live listing.

What employers are asking for

Across job descriptions posted in the last 14 days in India, the UAE and Singapore, the most-requested skills are: Leadership, Documentation, Communication, Problem solving, Stakeholder management, Project management and Cross-functional collaboration.

New this week: documentation has moved into the top three. It now appears in 4,000+ recent job descriptions. Employers want people who can write things down clearly — process notes, decisions, handovers. If you do this already, say so on your resume, with an example. Among technical skills, Excel and Python are the most requested.

One resume fix

"Problem solving" appears on almost every resume, so on its own it proves nothing. Show the problem, what you did, and the result.

  • Before: "Strong problem-solving skills"
  • After: "Cut month-end close from 9 days to 5 by automating 14 manual reconciliations in Excel"

Ask yourself: could a recruiter picture the problem you solved from that one line? Get your resume scored free, with your top 3 fixes.
