Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with stakeholders and users to understand, probe, and document business requirements. Craft detailed user journeys and use cases to illustrate how different types of users will interact with the systems and data.

Translate business requirements and user journeys into functional specifications and detailed requirements. Work closely with technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with the defined user journeys and meet operational needs.

Ensure the solutions developed incorporates best practices alongside user requirements. Conduct analysis to ensure quality and consistency, and to validate that the implemented solutions meet user needs. Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, process flows, user journeys, and project plans.

Assist with data governance and data management initiatives. Monitor system performance and work with technical teams to manage any necessary enhancements or fixes, ensuring changes align with the defined user journeys.

Work closely with technical teams and relevant parties to ensure sprints are planned and completed in a timely manner. Perform BAU monitoring, investigations, and resolutions.

Must Have Skills: Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in a data management or business analyst role within the investment and banking industry.

Proficiency in SQL and Python Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders.
