Job Description

**DESCRIPTION**: Sr Transportation Project Manager is responsible for leading and orchestrating comprehensive peak period preparation strategies across the transportation network, working closely with S&OP, topology, network design, configuration teams in addition to transportation peak captains to ensure optimal network performance during high-volume periods. Key job responsibilities - Lead medium and short-term peak planning initiatives, aligning transportation capacity with forecasted demand - Collaborate with S&OP teams to develop integrated peak readiness plans across all transportation miles - Analyze and optimize network configurations and topology to meet peak period requirements - Ensure network connections and nodes are properly configured and ready for increased volume - Design and implement contingency plans for potential capacity constraints - Oversee capacity planning and resource allocation across various transportation teams - Monitor and assess network performance metrics to identify potential bottlenecks - Lead transportation peak readiness and war rooms meetings **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience in a business analyst, data analyst or equivalent role - Experience creating, iterating, and improving end-to-end global supply chains - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results - Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**: - Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field - Knowledge of Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python)
