Senior Electrical Project Manager

Are you an experienced Electrical PM looking to work on technically challenging projects across commercial construction, healthcare and critical environments? I'm working with one of Melbourne's leading electrical contractors, renowned for delivering complex jobs across commercial construction, healthcare, mission-critical facilities, labs and other technically demanding environments. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they're looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through to handover stage. Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you'll take full ownership of delivering large-scale electrical projects, managing project teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and builders. You'll be responsible for: • Leading the successful delivery of large commercial electrical projects. • Managing project financials including budgets, forecasting, cost control and reporting. • Driving programme performance and ensuring key milestones are achieved. • Leading and mentoring Project Managers, Project Engineers and Site Managers. • Managing client relationships and representing the business at senior stakeholder level. • Overseeing procurement strategies, subcontractor engagement and commercial outcomes. • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest quality standards. • Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies. You'll ideally have: • 10+ years' experience delivering commercial electrical construction projects. • Proven experience managing projects valued at $15M+. • Strong commercial and financial management skills. • Exceptional leadership and people management capability. • Experience working across commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres, laboratories or other critical environments. • Excellent client-facing communication skills. • The ability to manage multiple stakeholders while driving project performance. • Relevant electrical trade or tertiary engineering qualification.
