The Impact of the Organisation Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation entering an exciting period of strategic growth and operational transformation. With a strong reputation, long-standing customer partnerships and a clear strategic vision for the future, the organisation is investing significantly in modernising its operations, strengthening its commercial capability and positioning itself for long-term sustainable growth. As part of this exciting transformation, the organisation is undertaking a major relocation of one of its operational sites and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead this critical initiative. The Impact of the Role Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead one of the organisation's most significant strategic initiatives, overseeing the acquisition, fit-out and transition to a new operational site. This is far more than a traditional relocation project. You will lead a complex program encompassing site acquisition, facility design, operational readiness, workforce transition, customer continuity and business change management, ensuring business operations continue seamlessly throughout the transition. Working closely with senior leaders, operational teams and external stakeholders, you will establish project governance, develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, risks and timelines, coordinate specialist resources and successfully deliver the project through to go-live and post implementation. This is a rare opportunity to shape a major organisational transformation while creating a lasting operational legacy. Key Responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex site acquisition and business transition project. • Develop and manage project governance, project plans, budgets, timelines and executive reporting. • Coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams including property, construction, operations, workforce transition and customer continuity. • Identify, manage and mitigate project risks while ensuring project milestones are achieved. • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across the organisation and external partners. • Coordinate specialist consultants, contractors and project resources throughout the project lifecycle. • Support operational readiness and ensure minimal disruption to employees, customers and business operations. • Champion structured project management methodologies and continuous improvement across the organisation. About You You are an experienced Senior Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex business transformation projects from planning through to implementation. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy navigating ambiguity and have the experience to lead critical projects with confidence. You will bring: • Extensive experience leading complex, end-to-end transformation projects within operational, manufacturing or commercial environments, ideally including site relocations, acquisitions or major operational transitions. • Strong expertise in project governance, including developing project plans, governance frameworks, budgets, timelines, executive reporting, and proactively managing project risks and issues. • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while balancing competing priorities and tight deadlines. • Experience managing procurement activities, external vendors, contractors and specialist consultants to successfully deliver project outcomes. • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives, engage cross-functional teams and navigate complex organisational environments. • Experience leading organisational change, workforce transition and business continuity initiatives. • Proficiency using Microsoft Project or equivalent enterprise project management software. • Relevant project management qualifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent will be highly regarded. Above all, you are a collaborative and pragmatic project leader who can bring structure to complexity, build strong relationships across the organisation and successfully deliver projects that create lasting organisational impact. What's on Offer • Approximately $150,000 + 12% superannuation and access to NFP salary packaging. • A two-year contract providing the opportunity to lead a major organisational transformation from planning through to completion. • Join a purpose-driven organisation during an exciting period of growth and operational evolution. • Work alongside an experienced executive leadership team committed to continuous improvement and innovation. • Deliver a project that will leave a lasting legacy for the organisation, its employees and the communities it supports. If you are an experienced project leader looking to deliver a complex transformation project within a values-driven organisation, we would love to hear from you.
