Senior UI/UX Designer

Senior UX/UI Designer 12-Month Day Rate Contract We're partnering with a leading organisation undergoing a significant digital transformation and are looking for an experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join a high-performing Agile product team. This is an opportunity to work across multiple digital products that have a genuine impact on thousands of users, helping shape intuitive, accessible and engaging experiences from concept through to delivery. The Role As the Senior UX/UI Designer, you'll own the end-to-end design process, working closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Engineers and stakeholders to solve complex problems through human-centred design. You'll conduct research, define user journeys, create prototypes and deliver polished user interfaces that balance customer needs with business outcomes. The role, • Plan and conduct user research, interviews and usability testing • Translate research into actionable insights and design solutions • Create personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs • Design intuitive experiences across web, desktop and mobile platforms • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering and Delivery teams throughout the product lifecycle • Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders • Build and evolve scalable design systems • Champion accessibility and best-practice UX principles • Continuously iterate designs using customer feedback and product analytics The requirements, • 5+ years' experience in UX/UI Design or Product Design • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX process and visual design • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research • Advanced skills with Figma (or similar design tools) • Experience creating low and high-fidelity prototypes • Strong understanding of Human-Centred Design and Design Thinking methodologies • Experience designing responsive web and native mobile applications • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) • Experience building and maintaining design systems • Comfortable facilitating workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders • Previous experience working within Agile product teams Nice to Have • Experience working across complex enterprise or digital transformation environments • Exposure to multiple digital products or platforms • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams Why Apply? • 12-month day rate contract with strong extension potential • Work on meaningful, customer-facing digital products • Join a collaborative Agile environment where design has a genuine seat at the table • Flexible hybrid working • Opportunity to influence product strategy and user experience at scale If interested, apply now or email me at shauna.oreilly@talentweb.com.au
