Job Description
DESCRIPTION The Supply Chain Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing Amazon Brazil's transportation network, while integrating broader supply chain planning aspects. In this role you will
- Develop and maintain advanced network optimization models to enhance transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery speed across the supply chain.
- Evaluate and refine existing optimization models, ensuring they accurately reflect current operational constraints, business objectives, and end-to-end supply chain impact.
- Design and implement scalable processes for middle-mile (MM) lane planning, integrating with broader supply chain metrics such as cost, speed, and inventory placement.
- Ensure alignment between operational planning (OP) cycles, guidance, and overall network strategy, including FC capacity, speed plans, and inventory positioning.
- Engage with key stakeholders across finance, transportation, and network strategy teams to communicate short, mid, and long-term supply chain plans effectively.
- Support central teams in developing comprehensive supply chain planning chapters for strategic documents and planning cycles.
- Develop a deep understanding of the finance structure to validate numbers upfront and minimize rework.
- Create and document overall processes, identify key stakeholders, map data flows, and determine required inputs and expected outputs across the supply chain network.
- Lead initiatives to scale planning operations, reduce manual workload, and integrate benchmark tools and automation with the SC optimization team.
- Continuously analyze supply chain data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential risks in the network. Key job responsibilities
Planning & Modeling
- Lead network optimization modeling to enhance transportation efficiency and cost;
- Drive strategic supply chain initiatives for network design improvements;
- Develop and evaluate optimization models using SCG;
- Design scalable processes for middle-mile (MM) lane planning. Cross-functional Leadership
- Partner with finance, transportation, and network strategy teams;
- Support central team with strategic planning documentation;
- Lead stakeholder engagement across organization;
- Validate financial impact of network decisions. Process & Analytics
- Create standard operating procedures for planning processes;
- Drive automation initiatives to increase analytical capabilities;
- Analyze network data for optimization opportunities;
- Implement benchmark tools and best practices. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Supply chain experience
- Advanced English, both written and oral PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience leading process improvements
