About the Team Join the AI Agent Engineering team, where we pioneer cutting‑edge HR & Finance AI agents that integrate within the Workday suite. This agile force architecting intelligent agents will revolutionize customers' workday. About the Role We are seeking a Principal Full‑Stack Engineer to contribute to a cross‑functional team building transformative AI agents for HR & Finance. Your technical contributions and team‑first attitude will play a key role in delivering high‑impact products that scale our AI capabilities and simplify complex business processes. Responsibilities • Collaborate with engineers to deliver AI‑powered agents that integrate deeply into HR and Financial workflows, accelerating intelligent decision‑making. • Participate in a supportive, iterative culture that values curiosity, learning, and strong engineering practices. • Contribute to the growth and success of teammates through knowledge sharing and mentorship. • Take ownership of multiple functional areas in our platform – from development to production (“you build it, you run it”). QualificationsBasic Qualification • 12+ years of experience in software engineering. • 7+ years with a web development framework (Python preferred: Flask, Django, or FastAPI). • 5+ years of experience with React and TypeScript for front‑end / full‑stack development. • 8+ years with a relational database (PostgreSQL preferred). • Bachelor's degree in a computer‑related field or equivalent work experience. Other Qualification • Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred). • Familiarity with the tradeoffs and architecture of modern distributed systems. • Knowledge of software development best practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability). • Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with Elasticsearch. • Experience working within fast‑paced, agile environments and multi‑functional teams. • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non‑technical partners. • Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating complex problems into clear solutions. • Committed to fostering an inclusive, team‑oriented environment and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. Pay & Location Primary Location: Vancouver, BC, Canada (CAN.BC.Vancouver) Base Pay Range: CAD $168,000 – $252,000 annually. Additional locations: same pay range. Flexible Work Hybrid model: at least 50% of time each quarter in the office or field; flexible schedule allowed.
