At the intersection of artificial intelligence, behavioural science, psychology, and product innovation, the organisation is developing a next-generation Digital Avatar designed to form meaningful, trusted, and enduring relationships with users Job Description Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, the Chief Emotional Architect will own the design and evolution of the emotional operating system underpinning the Digital Avatar platform. This is a highly strategic, pioneering role that blends clinical understanding of human behaviour with the ability to convert psychological principles into scalable product systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting how the Digital Avatar develops trust, forms attachments, remembers meaningful interactions, provides emotional safety, navigates conflict, and evolves through long-term relationship progression. Emotional Framework Design Build the foundational emotional architecture for the Digital Avatar Define emotional, trust, attachment, personality, and relationship models Develop scalable frameworks governing emotional responses and behavioural evolution Establish measurable emotional intelligence parameters within the product ecosystem Relationship Architecture Design interaction pathways across friendship, mentorship, companionship, and relationship-based experiences Create progression frameworks governing trust-building and emotional intimacy Define behavioural protocols for conflict management, vulnerability, emotional safety, and crisis support Ensure relationship systems remain authentic, scalable, and scientifically grounded Emotional Memory Systems Define what experiences and interactions are retained as meaningful memories Establish emotional weighting and significance attribution frameworks Build reinforcement and recall mechanisms that strengthen continuity of relationships over time Create systems enabling contextual understanding and long-term emotional relevance Human Behavioural Modelling Translate attachment theory, cognitive psychology, behavioural science, personality science, relationship dynamics, emotional regulation, and human development research into product requirements Partner closely with AI, product, engineering, and design teams to operationalise behavioural frameworks Ensure psychological principles can be measured, tested, deployed, and continuously improved Leadership & Product Impact Act as the organisation's subject matter expert on human relationships, emotional engagement, and behavioural systems Drive cross-functional collaboration to embed emotional intelligence into core product experiences Establish success frameworks and measurable outcomes for emotional engagement and relationship health The Successful Applicant A successful Chief Emotional Architect should have: The Successful Applicant Education Master's degree or PhD in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Relationship Science, or a related discipline Strong academic grounding in human behaviour and interpersonal dynamics Individuals with PhDs/FRM & Master in Industrial psycology are encourged to apply Experience Proven experience translating behavioural science or psychology into products, systems, platforms, or technology-driven solutions Exposure to consumer technology, AI products, digital experiences, or human-centred design environments preferred Research publications or demonstrated thought leadership in behavioural domains would be advantageous Experience building and shipping real-world systems rather than purely theoretical models Encouraged to apply: Prior consulting experience in Assessment designs.
