Patient Support Representative (PSR) $18/hour | Cleveland (44103) | Onsite Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM 3–6 Month Contract | Immediate Opening We are seeking a Patient Support Representative to provide exceptional customer service in a busy healthcare environment. This role is responsible for patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, data entry, and front desk support. Responsibilities: Greet and register patients Answer phones and schedule appointments Verify insurance eligibility and patient information Update records in EPIC/EHR systems Collect co-pays and patient payments Scan and maintain patient documentation Perform appointment reminder calls Assist patients with Medicaid and sliding fee applications Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Support clinic operations and patient flow Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient registration experience preferred Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR), preferably EPIC Knowledge of health insurance verification, coverage, and co-pays preferred Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment TB test required prior to start.
