Job Description
Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead and manage multiple concurrent projects, with a primary focus on continuously improving operations through IT, security, facility, procurement, business growth, and other project initiatives.
TPM will serve as the central point of coordination across internal teams, procurement, and external vendors. This individual must be a self-starter with strong technical acumen, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to influence without direct authority over staff engaged in project work.
This selected individual will support our SafeGuard Services (SGS) team, a subsidiary of Peraton , which performs data analysis, investigation, and medical review, to detect, prevent, deter, reduce, and make referrals to recover fraud, waste, and abuse in Medicare/Medicaid healthcare programs.
What you'll do: The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Lead a portfolio of concurrent projects spanning IT, security, facility, procurement, business growth, and other project initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, and in compliance with federal security requirements and audit standards Initiate/facilitate/manage projects/changes to 100+ server on-premises IT environment, with potential migration to cloud, across multiple networks, two east-coast facilities, mailroom operations, and off-site archival storage — maintaining/enhancing continuity of service throughout Define project scope, schedules, resource plans, and success criteria; develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate Facilitate project meetings, stakeholder briefings, and executive-level updates; monitor performance against baselines and proactively address risks and issues Operate with a high degree of self-direction to continuously identify and initiate new projects
