Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work within the hospital in the Emergency Department. 23 bed Emergency Department, Patient Ratio 1:4. Department is for all ages. STEMI/Stroke Certified Facility. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of recent ED experience Cardiac Monitoring/Emergency response: Interpretation/Management of dysrhythmias IV Therapy/Phlebotomy: Arterial line management, Blood product administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, and Starting/Maintaining IVs. Medications: Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and Procedural sedation administration/monitoring. Neurological: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), ICP monitoring, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, and Traumatic brain injury. Orthopedics: Ortho trauma Pediatrics: Head injury, Near drowning, and Spinal cord injury. Respiratory: Care of ventilated patient, Chest tube insertion/management, BiPAP/CPAP management, and Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs).
