Job Description
Area of Responsibility:  1. Product Development: Execute product development for customer requirement based on set guidelines resulting into product release. Participate customer discussions during alignment meetings. Document experience gained during design tenure. - On spec with necessary development documents 2. CFT Support: Provide necessary engineering support during localization, series topics, benchmarking and coordinate within different functions for closure of topics - Problem solving & achieve cost reduction 3. Innovation Management: Support for implementation of novice topics and filing them as Invention report - IRs and Patents 4. Escalation Management: Notify Team coach about work load prioritization, any design issues/risks/deviations during design process and obtain necessary support to mitigate them - On time 5. Networking: Participate in discussions with experts/CoC's within and outside Bosch thus enhancing one's competency - Competency enhancement Knowledge: 1. Advance knowledge about product development process and engineering process 2. Advance knowledge on standards/norms, design, material, reliability, system and vehicle knowledge Functional Skills: 1. Advance Customer & project centric approach, negotiation/mentoring skills, result orientated 2. Basic degree of creativity and analytical skills Education: Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical/Automobile); Masters in engineering (desirable)  Experience: 2+ years experience in Engineering product development Work experience in automotive industry is preferred Nature of work calls for the candidate to be flexible and agile, with high customer orientation.  Candidate should be able to work in teams to achieve the results.
