Job Description
Responsibilities Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of maritime projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. Develop comprehensive project plans, work breakdown structures, project schedules, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, technical, procurement, operations, IT, vendors, shipyards, and external stakeholders. Manage vessel retrofit, marine engineering, digitalisation, navigation, communication, automation, or fleet improvement projects. Monitor project progress through regular reporting, project reviews, KPI tracking, and stakeholder updates while proactively resolving project issues. Manage project budgets, cost control, procurement activities, contract administration, and change management to achieve financial targets. Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure compliance with company policies,maritime regulations, and safety standards. Liaise with shipowners, ship management companies, classification societies, equipment manufacturers, and subcontractors to ensure timely project execution. Ensure proper project documentation, lessons learned, technical reports, acceptance testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities are completed. Drive continuous improvement in project management methodologies, governance, and best practices while mentoring junior project engineers and coordinators. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the maritime, offshore, marine engineering, shipbuilding, or ship management industry.
