Quality Staffing Specialist is currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work within an Outpatient Pediatrics-Endocrinology Clinic. Outpatient Pediatric-Endocrinology Clinic with 12 Rooms. Approximately 60 patients per day. Patient Diagnoses: Diabetes, Pre-Diabetes, Puberty and Growth Disorders, Thyroid Disorders, and Pituitary Disorders. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 year of Outpatient Clinic experience Must have strong Pediatrics, Endocrinology, and Triage experience Must have previous travel/contract experience Assessment: Height/Weight, Medication reconciliation, Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Obtain Vital signs, Pain Assessment, Patient Health Questionnaire/History, and Pulse Oximetry. Cardiovascular: Hypertension Endocrine: Blood glucose monitoring Medications: Immunizations and Insulin. Medication Administration: Intramuscular and Subcutaneous. Special Equipment: A1C, Glucometer, and Tanita Scale. Specimen Collection: Capillary, Labeling of specimens, and Urine - UA/Clean Catch. Laboratory Tests: Blood glucose via Glucometer, and Urine Dipstick/Urinalysis. Office Duties: Authorization form, Chart Preparation, Disability forms, Insurance Verification, Ordering supplies, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Referrals, Scheduling appointments, and Telephone Triage. EMR: Epic experience required Location: Raleigh, NC Rate: $1,960/weekly (travel rate, must reside >75 miles from facility) $1,880/weekly (local rate, if you reside Shifts Available: Days: 8:00am-5:00pm (Monday-Friday), 5x8 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 No Call No Weekends Credential Requirements: Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Active RN License in North Carolina or a Compact State BLS/Healthcare Provider (AHA only) Quality Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay by direct deposit Housing Stipends/Meals & Incidentals (for those who qualify, >50 miles from p
