Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work within an Medical Oncology Unit. 31 bed Acute Care Medical Oncology Unit providing comprehensive care for oncology patients at any stage of the cancer continuum, as well as treating patients with benign hematology and general medicine diagnoses. The unit uses a multidisciplinary approach, collaborating with oncologists, advanced practice providers (APPs), and palliative care providers. The nursing staff are highly specialized, with many holding professional certifications in oncology, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy. Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:5. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 1 year of recent Inpatient Medical Oncology experience Ambulatory Oncology Infusion experience preferred EMR: Epic experience required Location: Raleigh, NC Rate: $2,160/weekly (travel rate, you must reside >60 miles from the facility) $1,920/weekly (local rate, if you reside Shifts Available: Days: 8:00am-4:30pm (Monday-Friday), 5x8 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 20 weeks Hours per week: 40 No Call No Weekends No Holidays Credential Requirements: Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment more than 30 days RN License in NC or Compact License BLS Certification (ARC or AHA) OCN/ONCC/Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification *preferred, not required Quality Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay by direct deposit Housing Stipends/Meals & Incidentals (for those who qualify, >50 miles from permanent residence to facility) Paid Sick Time Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term Disability (starts your 2nd week) Referral Program One point of contact for all your staffing needs
