Quality Staffing Specialists are currently seeking skilled Registered Nurses to work with the hospital in the Emergency Department. Emergency Department with 34 Beds, open to all ages from Neonates to Geriatrics. Average about 100 visits per day. ED Provider – MD/PA have triage area, Telemetry, may do some conscious sedation. Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2 years of recent emergency department experience Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Responses: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, and Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure IV Therapy: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management and Starting/Maintaining IVs Medication: Emergency Medication, IV Vasopressors and Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring Neurological: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) Psychiatric: Acute Psychosis, Drug Overdose, Managing violent behavior, and Suicidal patient Previous charge experience preferred EMR: Epic and Pyxis experience required Location: Kinston, NC **You must reside >50 miles from the facility to qualify Rate: $1,944/weekly Shifts Available: Days: 7:00am-7:00pm, 3x12 hour shifts Scheduling Requirements: Length of contract: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Weekends: every other weekend required Holidays: every other holiday required No block scheduling No Call Credential Requirements: Resume reflecting all experience & explanation of gaps in employment RN Licensure/Compact State BLS Certification (AHA) ACLS Certification (AHA) PALS Certification (AHA) NIHSS/Stroke Scale CPI/Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Quality Staffing Benefits: Weekly pay by direct deposit Housing Stipends/Meals & Incidentals for all healthcare professionals Paid Sick Time Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short Term Disability (starts your 2 nd week) Referral Program One point of contact for all your staffing needs
