We are seeking an experienced Virtual Medical Receptionist / Scheduler to support a busy healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in patient communication, appointment scheduling, and healthcare administrative support while providing an exceptional patient experience. Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound patient calls professionally. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Manage provider calendars and appointment availability. Assist with patient registration and demographic updates. Document patient communications and scheduling notes within the EMR. Support patient follow-up and care coordination activities. Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism during all patient interactions. Requirements Qualifications Bilingual English/Spanish (Required). Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist, Medical Scheduler, or Medical Administrative Assistant. Experience handling high-volume patient calls. Strong appointment scheduling and calendar management experience. Excellent communication, customer service, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Epic and/or Acumen EMR. Patient registration and intake experience. Insurance verification experience. Experience in Nephrology, Dialysis, Specialty Practices, or Multi-Provider Scheduling environments. Benefits Please note that this is a full-time contractor position (40 hours per week) with a pay rate of $6 - $7 per hour depending on skillset and experience.
