Job Summary You will perform administrative and clerical tasks to support office operations, including scheduling, filing, phone handling, and basic bookkeeping to ensure smooth daily workflows. Responsibilities Maintain and update files and records to ensure easy access and accuracy Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for timely delivery Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate colleagues efficiently Operate office equipment such as photocopiers and printers and use computers for word processing and spreadsheet tasks Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including issuing invoices, checks, and updating employee leave records accurately Assist in managing office organization procedures to support smooth operations Monitor office supply inventory and report shortages promptly to maintain stock levels Complete additional office duties as assigned to support team needs Required competencies and certifications Proven experience as an office clerk or in a clerical position Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles Working knowledge of office devices and processes Proficiency in typing, stenography, and taking dictations Strong knowledge of MS Office applications Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and clients Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred competencies and qualifications [None specified] Other Information [None]
