Job Description
To build resilient children who know their rights and have their voices heard so that they can confidently overcome challenges in their lives and flourish. This is done through advocating, collaborating with stakeholders to create a child-centric community where every child feels safe, cared for and supported. To support in programme development and evidence-informed group work/workshops for identified beneficiaries (e.g children, parents, educators) and work systemically with the child’s ecosystem, so as to support the holistic development of the child. Conduct rigorous assessment and provide basic psychosocial, behavioural interventions to children in need. The purpose is to ensure that child’s mental well-being is supported so that they can be resilient and grow up strong and healthy. To develop, implement, monitor, evaluate and review programmes to address children’s related needs (e.g mental health literacy, resilience, anger management), parents and professionals based on their needs. Identify areas of improvements im programmes and implement quality control and compliance procedures to ensure relevance and effectiveness Maintain up to date case documentation and records on progress of beneficiaries Develop resources and information materials for distribution to participants and members of the public Engage and coordinate with stakeholders (i.e schools, community partners, volunteers) for the execution of programmes Conduct outreach activities or develop outreach plans to target client groups, other organisations and the community, which may include public speaking Engage members of the public Develop and conduct outreach activities that targets client groups, other organisations, community or at our office premise to reach out to general population of children and parents To conduct mental-health check-ins for children and engage parents To work collaboratively with children’s support networks-parents, educators and community partners to address the needs.
