We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety, and reducing workplace risks on-site. This position requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and thorough knowledge of safety protocols and practices in the construction sector. Responsibilities Lead regular site inspections and conduct comprehensive risk assessments to uphold high safety standards and ensure compliance with company ISO and OSHAS policies Identify safety hazards on-site and implement corrective actions promptly, preparing detailed inspection reports for the Construction Manager to facilitate immediate response Collaborate with construction teams to provide expert guidance on safety matters and lead daily toolbox meetings to reinforce safety awareness Enforce all applicable safety legislation and internal safety rules to maintain a safe working environment Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System across worksites Monitor supervisors and workers to ensure strict adherence to safe work procedures and regulatory compliance Maintain accurate and complete project Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) reports and documentation to support safety management and audits
