Key Responsibilities Facilities Management Manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of hospital buildings, equipment, and infrastructure. Ensure the reliability and availability of critical systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, medical gas, fire protection, and security systems. Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs. Monitor facility performance through inspections, audits, and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, infection control requirements, and statutory obligations. Coordinate emergency preparedness, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans related to facilities. Manage facility-related service contracts and vendor performance. Oversee energy management, sustainability initiatives, and utility consumption optimization. Lead workplace safety programs and risk assessments to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Manage facilities budgets, operational expenditures, and cost-control initiatives. Investigate and resolve facility-related incidents, complaints, and service disruptions. Facilities Development Lead facility planning, expansion, renovation, upgrading, and redevelopment projects. Collaborate with clinical departments and stakeholders to identify infrastructure and space requirements. Develop project scopes, technical specifications, budgets, and implementation schedules. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout project lifecycles. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with healthcare design standards and regulations. Conduct feasibility studies, space planning, and infrastructure assessments. Manage project risk assessments and mitigation strategies. Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover of new facilities and systems.
