We are looking for Senior Consultant/ Associate Manager, Data Governance Expert from Banking Industry for a Permanent role with our Client. Responsibilities: Act as the subject matter expert for data governance, collaborating closely with the Finance team in Singapore and engaging with stakeholders across Data Management, Risk Management, and IT. Lead execution of data governance initiatives by breaking down complex activities into actionable deliverables such as KDE identification, EUC inventory and criticality assessment, data aggregation process mapping, and implementation of data lineage systems. Apply prior experience and practical knowledge from past data governance projects to design effective solutions and drive successful outcomes. Develop and manage project plans with clear milestones, governance structures, and defined roles and responsibilities. Integrate Company’s project management methodology with the bank’s operational practices to ensure plans are both strategic and executable. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in any related fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance or data management roles within a financial institution, preferably banking. Proven ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments involving business, IT, compliance, and vendors. Strong documentation skills using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Solid project management skills, including progress tracking, issue and risk management, and stakeholder coordination, experience preparing and delivering reports or presentations to senior management or executives and good stakeholder management and communication skills are a plus. Proficiency in business-level English across reading, writing, listening, and speaking will be beneficial for liaising with key stakeholders. Strong understanding of regulatory reporting, internal reporting, finance/accounting business processes, and related systems.
