AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS)AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. - Bachelor degree in environmental science, chemical or environmental engineering, or related field - 7+ years serving as an environmental technical resource, compliance specialist, or program manager - Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (air quality, water quality, waste management, hazardous materials) - Applied knowledge of local, national and European environmental laws and standards - Proven experience with regulatory assessments, permit preparation and compliance management - Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities - Ability to work under pressure and handle regulatory deadlines - Strong organizational and time management skills - Experience in environmental reporting and documentation - Ability to conduct environmental investigations and develop corrective actions - Strong communication skills in German and English - Ability to collaborate with various departments and external stakeholders - Experience working with contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies
