About Community Mental Health Department: Community Intervention Team - COMIT You can approach over 100 community mental health teams in the community islandwide such as the Community Intervention Team (COMIT). We provide psychotherapy and psychosocial interventions such as cognitive behavioural therapy and psychoeducation support for clients with mental health issues and dementia, and their caregivers. We also work closely with the General Practitioners, polyclinics and hospitals and other community partners to provide collaborative and coordinated care to clients and caregivers in the community. Responsibilities: Conduct assessment and provide intervention and support to clients with mental health issues, e.g., psychoeducation, counselling and therapy, case management, as well as caregiver support. Plan, implement and review services and activities to meet the needs of the clients and/or caregivers. Responsible for maintaining client records that are accurate and timely for submission for data analysis, in accordance to the COMIT programme requirement. Keep and maintain client and programme data and documents, in accordance to the COMIT programme requirement, as well as the prevailing personal data protection and security guidelines. Support in the development of COMIT service planning and processes (outreach, triage, mental health information, service linkage & follow-up). Ensure attendance in training and supervision sessions, where relevant, as part of the staff competency required by the COMIT programme. Requirements: MUST possess SAC recognised Graduate Diploma in Counselling/Master's in Counselling Minimum 1-2 years of experience in counselling and therapy or casework management Good knowledge on counselling modalities Equipped to conduct intervention using at least 1 counselling modality Passion for managing people with mental health conditions Good communication skills Able to work well in a collaborative environment Compassionate, detail orientated with g
