Job Description
Hospitality Talents is a leading recruitment agency specializing in connecting top-tier hospitality professionals with prestigious employers.
For our client, a branded property in Brussels, we are searching for Sales Manager . As the Multi-Segment Sales Manager , you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and driving the commercial strategy for the hotel across MICE, Corporate, Leisure, and other key segments . Your role will focus on revenue growth, client retention, and new business development , while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Planning
• Develop and execute the annual business plan in alignment with the hotel and group’s financial and strategic goals.
• Define and adjust segment-specific sales strategies (MICE, Corporate, Leisure) to maximize profitability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to proactively adapt strategies.
Segment Management
• MICE: Prospect and manage corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, and incentive travel. Collaborate with the events team to ensure flawless execution.
• Corporate: Build and maintain strong relationships with local, national, and international businesses. Negotiate contracts and corporate rates.
• Leisure: Target individual travelers, families, and tourists, working closely with travel agencies and online booking platforms.
Business Development
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through proactive outreach (cold calls, emails, social media, trade shows, etc.).
• Organize and attend B2B events (trade fairs, roadshows, client meetings) to promote the hotel.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns (promotions, packages, partnerships).
Account Management & Client Relations
• Provide personalized follow-up to key accounts (corporate clients, agencies, event planners).
• Negotiate and finalize contracts that meet revenue and margin targets.
• Ensure high client satisfaction through responsive service and tailored solutions.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
• Track sales performance (occupancy rates, revenue by segment, ROI of sales actions).
• Prepare regular reports (monthly, quarterly) for management, including actionable recommendations.
• Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Opera, Salesforce) to manage the sales pipeline and prospect tracking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Front Office, Revenue Management, Events, and Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive approach.
• Participate in strategic meetings and contribute to decisions on pricing, promotions, and investments.
Required Profile
Experience & Skills
• Minimum experience: 3–5 years in a similar role (Sales Manager, Business Development Manager) in luxury or 4-5 star hospitality , ideally with multi-segment exposure.
• Segment expertise: Proven track record in MICE, Corporate, and Leisure sales , with a strong industry network.
• Sales skills: Exceptional ability to negotiate, persuade, and retain clients .
• Analytical skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Advanced Excel, dashboards) and ability to develop data-driven action plans.
• CRM systems: Experience with sales management software (Opera, Salesforce, etc.).
Soft Skills
• Client relations: Strong customer service orientation and ability to build long-term relationships.
• Organization: Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Communication: Fluent in English and French (written and spoken). Dutch is a plus.
• Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
Education
• Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or Marketing (or equivalent experience).
