MC Linehaul Drivers

Linfox’s Intermodal business unit have multiple opportunities for MC Linehaul drivers with B-double and B-triple experience to join the team located in Laverton North VIC. You will be responsible for safely delivering various palletised freight on direct runs from Melbourne to either SA, QLD, WA or NSW. As a part of this role, you will be pulling taught liner and refrigerated trailers. We currently have multiple permanent full-time opportunities available working Monday to Friday on night shift starting anywhere between 9:00pm - 11:00pm. Key areas: • Deliver palletised general freight on Linehaul runs to either SA, QLD, WA or NSW • Daily prestart checks, including refueling & maintaining truck interior • Comply with Linfox’s coupling & uncoupling procedures • Ensure loads are restrained appropriately • Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where needed • Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus Are you the one? You can demonstrate: • Open and valid MC licence with BFM • 3+ years of experience completing linehaul runs across multiple states • B double & B triple experience essential • Ability to manage fatigue – BFM required or willing to obtain • Knowledge of major Australian cities and/or interstate road networks • Strong work ethic, customer service and communication skills At Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
