Driver's Mate – Bristol People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Driver's Mate to join our well-established client based in Yate, Bristol . This is a fantastic opportunity offering guaranteed 48 hours per week, weekly pay, immediate starts, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position with a well-established logistics company. This role would suit candidates with experience as a Driver's Mate, Driver's Assistant, Delivery Assistant, Driver Helper, Delivery Porter, Home Delivery Assistant, or Warehouse Operative . Location  • Yate, Bristol  • Due to early morning start times, you must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport. Shifts  • Monday – Saturday  • Start times from 06:00  • Job and finish role  • Guaranteed 48 hours per week Rates of Pay  • £12.71 per hour  • Weekly pay Benefits As a Driver's Mate , you will receive:  • Guaranteed 48 hours per week  • Weekly pay  • Temp-to-perm opportunity  • Immediate starts available  • Full training and induction provided  • Long-term, stable work with a well-established client  • Opportunity to secure a permanent position Day-to-Day Duties As a Driver's Mate , your duties will include (but are not limited to):  • Assisting drivers with home deliveries to customers  • Loading and unloading products safely (heavy lifting involved)  • Supporting the driver with route completion and delivery paperwork  • Providing excellent customer service at every delivery  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times Essential Skills  • Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport  • Able to travel to Yate for early morning starts  • Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Desirable Experience  • Previous experience working as a Driver's Mate, Driver's Assistant, Delivery Assistant, Driver Helper, Delivery Porter, Home Delivery Assistant, Warehouse Operative, or within a similar logistics or distribution environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
