What you can expect: • Open to GP/NP candidates in Wairarapa who want additional hours • Supportive Team Culture: Large team of GP's, Nurses, and support staff with GP's being Fellows of the Royal College • Salary packages: Open to negotiate What you have to do: • Provide GP or NP Medical rounds for aged care residents, with the support of knowledgeable nursing teams • Assess, treat / prescribe, give the nursing teams direction on residential care, refer when required • Make consultative decisions with extended family and resident to ensure quality of life What you have to have: • Registered as a Nurse Practitioner with NZNC or • GP with NZMC with right to practice in NZ • Calm methodical work ethic and an inquiring mind set to provide consistent support to the older adult • Medication Management Want extra earning power, pick up these additional hours, and increase your skill set and versatility.
