Theatre Nurse

Scrub, circulate or assist with surgical cases. You will enjoy variety and a fast paced environment. This role is based in a five theatre department, which covers a wide range of surgical specialties. Duties * Standard circulating, assist and scrub nurse duties * Provide exceptional customer care and be an advocate for your clients * Be an exceptional team player contributing to the desired outcomes * Continue to learn new skills and share your knowledge Skills & Experience * Registered Nurse with a current New Zealand APC * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * At least one year of theatre nursing experience in New Zealand * Preferred specialties: Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology Benefits * Annual shut down for Christmas and New Year - enjoy a summer break * Salary: $37-$53 per hour - dependent upon experience * Great working hours * Work with well-respected teams * Support for professional development * Subsidised meals provided during shifts For someone currently based in a larger centre, this is a great opportunity to enjoy a more balanced lifestyle without compromising on clinical variety or professional development.
