Job Description
The RMA Technician is responsible for supporting the Returned Material Authorization (RMA) process by performing inspection, testing, documentation, and data recording on returned electronic products and PCB assemblies. The role ensures accurate defect identification, traceability of returned units, and timely reporting of inspection and test results to support engineering analysis and customer requirements.
Job Description
Receive and record returned products and customer-reported defects. Update and maintain RMA records using Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Collect returned units from the Reballing Department for inspection and testing. Perform visual inspection to identify defects and abnormalities.
Conduct testing using equipment such as SCT, ATE, and SLT in accordance with work instructions. Record inspection and test results accurately and escalate abnormal findings when required. Ensure proper handling of products and compliance with quality and ESD procedures.
Requirements
ITE/NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or a related field. Fresh entry are welcome to apply. Training will be provided. Basic knowledge of electronic components or PCB assemblies is an advantage. Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Detail-oriented, willing to learn, and able to follow work instructions.
