Opal Fibre Packaging Australia provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting opportunity for a Day Shift Manager to join the team at our site in Bibra Lake. The Day Shift Manager (7am - 3pm) is responsible for ensuring production targets are met by providing support and direction to teams. The successful incumbent will drive a sustainable operation with focus on continuous improvement to deliver all safety, quality and production targets in accordance with quality standards. This includes: • Lead safety by example through consistent actions and zero tolerance for unsafe conditions and behaviours • Support daily site meeting with prepared WIP report, advising current status of issues and actions carried out • Supervise production to meet customer requirements and to optimize production efficiencies in keeping with meeting customer and business requirements • Monitor production output and address delays or bottlenecks • Encourage and lead employee engagement through open two-way communications and developing and fostering structured improvement activities • Oversee all administrative functions such as payroll submissions, to be completed in an accurate and timely manner • Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all SOPs and policies are adhered to Discover your sustainable future… We can offer a varied career journey with experiential learning gained from cross-functional and lateral moves.
