What are we looking for?
About the role:
To ensure the accurate and timely processing of sales orders and effective coordination across internal departments and the supply chain. The role is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service, resolving queries, and supporting operational efficiency through clear communication and reporting.
Key Accountabilities of the role – What I do IT
(The below is not exhaustive)
· Accurately raise and manage manual sales orders, including any amendments or updates.
· Communicate order details and changes effectively to Production, Transport, and other relevant departments.
· Monitor orders through the supply chain, ensuring timely progress and resolution of any issues.
· Act as a key point of contact for customer queries, complaints, shortages, and order-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution.
· Provide administrative support to Supply Chain Planners and the wider team.
· Produce and share service level reports and performance data with stakeholders as required.
· Maintain accurate records and documentation, including raising purchase orders and confirming orders for equipment or services.
· Use Microsoft Office tools (particularly Outlook and Excel) effectively to manage workloads and reporting.
· Provide out-of-hours support where required, including cover for weekends, holidays, or sickness absence.

· Strong organisational and administrative skills with high attention to detail
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Experience in order processing, supply chain, or logistics (desirable)
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
