Role Objective Support month-end close and provide accounting oversight Act as a partner to the Accounting Lead in building scalable processes Health Insurance/HMO Enjoy unlimited MadMax Coffee Diverse learning & growth opportunities Accessible Cloud HR platform (Sprout) Above standard leaves Key Responsibilities Ownership of OPEX accounts and related balance sheet accounts Review and posting of journal entries Reconciliations (prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, payroll – if applicable) Review work completed by the Junior Accountant Support month-end close cadence and financial reporting readiness Assist in developing policies, procedures, and internal controls Experience & Qualifications Strong GAAP knowledge (US GAAP preferred; other frameworks acceptable with understanding of differences) ERP exposure preferred CPA or equivalent license: nice to have, not required Key Soft Skills Ownership mindset and startup mentality Passion for process improvement and building for scale Strong collaboration and problem-solving capabilities Additional relevant knowledge or experience related to the above requirements will be considered an advantage.
