As we continue to expand our capabilities and strengthen our position as a trusted partner to our clients, we are expanding our executive leadership team to support the Company's next phase of growth, organisational capability and regional ambitions.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a key executive leadership appointment within Tangspac. Reporting to the CEO, the Managing Director will provide executive leadership across the Company's Singapore business to drive commercial performance, organisational capability and operational excellence, while contributing to broader strategic initiatives across the Group.
ROLE PURPOSE
As a member of the executive leadership team, the Managing Director will be accountable for delivering agreed business outcomes jointly established with the CEO. Performance objectives and key performance indicators will encompass commercial performance, profitability, organisational capability, client growth, leadership effectiveness and strategic initiatives.
The role will work across all business units and functions to:
• Drive execution of the Company's strategic and commercial objectives.
• Have overall accountability for the Company's profit and loss performance, including revenue growth, gross profit, operating profitability and sustainable business growth.
• Build a high-performing leadership team that consistently delivers on its growth objectives
• Strengthen client relationships and commercial performance.
• Develop the people, systems and processes required to support the Company's next stage of growth.
• Champion a culture built on trust, client focus, commitment, accountability and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Growth & Commercial Performance
Accountable for the overall commercial performance of Tangspac's Singapore business by ensuring each business unit achieves agreed revenue, gross profit, client acquisition, client retention and operational objectives.
Responsibilities include:
• Drive sustainable revenue growth across existing and new business lines.
• Identify opportunities for market expansion and new service offerings.
• Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions where required.
• Improve commercial discipline, forecasting and business planning.
Leadership & Organisational Capability
Build a high-performing leadership team capable of delivering consistent business results.
Responsibilities include:
• Establish a culture of ownership, accountability and execution.
• Ensure performance expectations remain clear and measurable.
• Ensure business leaders are supported, challenged and developed to achieve their full potential.
• Achieve agreed commercial, operational and people objectives and KPIs
• Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, development of leaderships, with timely intervention where required.
• Ensure high performers are retained.
• Identify capability gaps and implement development, restructuring or hiring plans where appropriate.
• Foster collaboration across business units and eliminate organisational silos
Client Growth & Strategic Relationships
Drive the growth and development of Tangspac's strategic client portfolio.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key existing and prospective clients.
• Drive growth across the client portfolio through new client acquisition, cross-selling and expansion of existing service offerings.
• Lead selected strategic pursuits, enterprise negotiations, and executive client engagements.
• Participate in strategic client reviews and executive governance meetings where required.
Operational Excellence
Drive operational effectiveness across the organisation.
Responsibilities include:
• Improve service delivery standards and client experience.
• Strengthen operational processes, governance and execution.
• Improve collaboration between recruitment, delivery and corporate functions.
Innovation & Business Transformation
Drive Tangspac's evolution into a best-in-class talent advisory, workforce solutions, and consulting business.
Responsibilities include:
• Champion the development of new workforce solutions, consulting capabilities and managed service offerings that address evolving client needs.
• Identify, evaluate and commercialise new business opportunities, products, services and growth platforms.
• Drive the adoption of technology, automation and AI to improve operational efficiency, client experience and business scalability.
• Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, government initiatives, grants and ecosystem opportunities that support business growth and innovation.
Strategic Leadership
Partner with the CEO to shape the Company’s long-term direction, organisational culture and strategic priorities.
Responsibilities include:
• Drive annual business planning, strategic reviews and execution of key corporate initiatives.
• Champion a high-performance culture by fostering employee engagement, recognition, motivation and leadership development.
• Develop initiatives that strengthen Tangspac's employer value proposition, employee experience and ability to attract and retain top talent.
• Identify opportunities to create synergies across the Group and strengthen the Company's competitive positioning.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a seasoned business leader with strong commercial judgement, leadership capability and a proven ability to deliver sustainable commercial results through leaders and teams.
You are likely to possess:
• 15+ years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build, develop and lead high-performing leadership teams that consistently deliver strong commercial outcomes.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility. Experience in enterprise sales and strategic client relationship management will be highly regarded.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success building leadership capability and fostering a culture of ownership, accountability and execution.
• High integrity, resilience and sound judgement.
• A hands-on, pragmatic and execution-oriented approach.
• Experience in recruitment, workforce solutions, consulting, professional services or financial services will be advantageous.
