Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and advanced automation solutions. They are now recruiting a Software Engineer (R&D) to support product development and innovation initiatives. They are located in the North – easily accessible.
Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain software applications for advanced industrial automation and manufacturing equipment. Design and implement control software, data acquisition modules, and equipment interface functionalities.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate software with mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Conduct software validation, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and system enhancements.
Prepare technical documentation while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience in software development within manufacturing, industrial automation, or high-tech engineering environments is preferred.
Proficient in C++ programming for application, embedded, or automation software development. Knowledge of embedded systems, motion control, machine interface, or industrial communication protocols is advantageous.
Exposure to AI, machine learning, computer vision, or data analytics applications will be an added advantage.
