Job Description
• This role serves as the technical authority for cooling and thermal management solutions supporting strategic Cloud & Service Provider (C&SP), Hyperscale, and Internet Giant customers.
• You will engage with customers, consultants, and internal stakeholders during the earliest phases of datacenter development, often before formal project opportunities, tenders, or RFQs are issued.
• Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help shape cooling strategies, influence technical specifications, and support the development of future-ready thermal architectures that leverage Schneider Electric's cooling portfolio and ecosystem capabilities.
• As a recognized expert in datacenter cooling technologies, you will work closely with Strategic Account Managers, Technical Leaders, engineering teams, Lines of Business, and external consultants to define scalable, resilient, sustainable, and energy-efficient cooling solutions addressing the rapidly evolving requirements of AI, HPC, cloud, and hyperscale datacenters.

• Serve as the recognized cooling and thermal management expert for assigned strategic Cloud & Service Provider accounts.
• Build trusted relationships with customer engineering teams, consultants, and technical decision-makers.
• Engage with customers during early planning and design phases to influence future cooling requirements, specifications, and standards.
• Support customers in developing resilient, scalable, sustainable, and energy-efficient cooling architectures for new datacenter developments and expansions.
• Provide expert guidance on cooling strategies, thermal management approaches, technology selection, and operational considerations.
• Support the evaluation and selection of cooling technologies aligned with customer business objectives and Schneider Electric capabilities.
• Identify emerging customer requirements and technology trends impacting future datacenter cooling strategies Solution Development & Innovation
• Develop conceptual cooling architectures integrating air-cooled, chilled water, and liquid cooling technologies.
• Evaluate alternative cooling approaches and provide expert recommendations balancing reliability, scalability, sustainability, operational efficiency, and total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate with Schneider Electric Lines of Business and technology partners to identify opportunities for innovation and adoption of new cooling technologies.
• Support the development of standardized reference architectures and design principles for strategic accounts.
• Contribute to the development of future cooling solution roadmaps supporting AI, HPC, and next-generation datacenter workloads.
• Promote innovative approaches to improve energy efficiency, water efficiency, cooling capacity, and operational resilience. Customer Engagement & External Influence
• Lead cooling-focused workshops, architecture reviews, technical consultations, and design discussions with customers and consultants.
• Support Strategic Account Managers and sales teams in customer engagements requiring advanced cooling expertise.
• Provide technical-commercial advocacy demonstrating the value and differentiators of Schneider Electric cooling solutions.
• Influence customer technical specifications, design standards, and preferred solution approaches where appropriate.
• Present emerging technologies, best practices, and future cooling strategies to customer engineering organizations.
• Build strong relationships with consultant organizations and engineering firms involved in datacenter design and specification development.
• Represent Schneider Electric at industry events, technical forums, and customer workshops when required. Technical Strategy & Standardization
• Support the development and adoption of standardized cooling architectures across strategic customers.
• Establish cooling design principles, engineering best practices, and technology guidelines to support repeatable deployments.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with Schneider Electric governance principles, sustainability objectives, quality requirements, safety standards, and cybersecurity requirements where applicable.
• Review customer specifications and design standards, providing recommendations to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the creation of technical reference documentation, application guides, and best-practice materials. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Strategic Account Managers, Sales teams, Cooling Technical Leaders, Engineering teams, Project Teams, and Lines of Business.
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex cooling architecture and technology discussions.
• Support regional teams in understanding and implementing customer-approved cooling standards and design principles.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer between customers, consultants, business units, and execution teams.
• Provide specialized technical expertise during critical customer engagements and strategic opportunities. Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of datacenter cooling technologies, thermal management strategies, and industry developments.
