Inventory Reporting Controller (1 Year Contract)

The Company Our client in the manufacturing industry is currently seeking a Inventory Reporting Controller to join their dynamic team. The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of inventory accounting across a complex global supply chain. The Role The role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of inventory accounting across a complex global supply chain. Key responsibilities include managing month-end close activities, inventory reconciliations, financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis, while overseeing inventory valuation, and scrap reporting. The role partners closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Planning, and Business Unit teams to consolidate reporting through SAP and Power BI, support inventory governance, and ensure compliance with IFRS, SOX, and internal control requirements. Your Profile The ideal candidate should possess a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with professional qualifications such as ACCA, or CPA preferred. The candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant finance or controlling experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment, with strong knowledge of inventory accounting, cost control, financial reporting, and internal controls. Experience with compliance frameworks, audit processes, and governance requirements is required. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA ERP within a manufacturing setting, along with experience using analytics and reporting tools would be advantageous.
