To introduce our software to our clients, business consultants are essential to us. In the role of Lead Business Consultant, your participation will be instrumental in the expansion of our market unit and in advancing the outcomes of our clients\' projects. You will be responsible for leading the delivery of business consulting services, ensuring that client objectives are met through tailored solutions and strategic recommendations. The Lead Business Consultant will work closely with senior stakeholders, managing project teams, and ensuring high-quality service delivery while fostering strong client relationships. What You Will Be Responsible For • Lead business consulting projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring that services are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and design customized solutions • Manage the end-to-end consulting process, from initial assessment to implementation, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and professional development within the team • Monitor project progress, identifying risks, resolving issues, and ensuring deliverables are met while maintaining high client satisfaction • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and client feedback to enhance service delivery • Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals for clients, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations • Assist in business development efforts, supporting proposals, and expanding service offerings within existing client accounts • Analyze business performance data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization, providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency What We Value Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest. As our preferred candidate you have: • Previous experience as an (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms • Excellent know-how in at least two of the following areas: Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial Reporting • Experience with Trade processing including confirmation and/or trade settlement processes and solutions is a plus • Degree within Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred • Self-starter with a can-do mindset • Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver the results on time • Have Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English – both oral and written • Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting • Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plus • Ability to travel to client’s site • Can attend the SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy. For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $115,040 - $165,040 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
