Overview: The HR Manager is a true generalist, responsible for enabling and optimizing the full employee life cycle while driving positive employee experience in all phases. Acting as a trusted HR Business Partner, this individual will be the first point of contact for employees and managers on all HR-related matters in region. While the role has a strong focus on talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness, the HR Manager will collaborate closely with global HR colleagues to deliver consistent, best-in-class HR services, policies, and programs across the company. The role will be based in our Singapore head office supporting the following: · CloudHQ SGP Corporate Office (for colleagues working in/from the Regional HQ) · CloudHQ Japan · CloudHQ Thailand (with other growth pending / planned in region) You will be excited by the opportunity to build HR processes from the ground up. The successful candidate will be able to adapt smoothly and quickly in a multi-cultural, entrepreneurial environment supporting HR Operations, as well as all local compliance and administrative requirements. What You'll Do: • Act as the primary HR contact (and local lead) for assigned client groups across the APAC Region • Partner with leaders to understand business objectives and provide HR solutions that support local performance, growth and employee engagement • Oversee the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee development, mobility, and offboarding • Ensure the proper completion of employee actions including new hires, transfers, pay changes, status changes, and terminations, ensuring that all appropriate steps are completed in a timely and accurate manner • Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, performance issues, and policy application and interpretation, ensuring fair and consistent practices. • Support talent management processes including workforce planning, succession, and leadership development initiatives • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and internal policies/audits across multiple jurisdictions (in APAC Region) • Collaborate with the global HR team members to harmonize HR policies, programs, and systems worldwide. Our approach: Common where possible; different when necessary. • Deliver HR analytics and reporting (from the Company’s existing HRIS) to support data-driven decision-making and also support as we transition to new HRIS platform in late 2026 onwards • Champion initiatives that strengthen company culture, employee engagement, and retention • Management of the company’s (local/regional) social impact initiatives including community outreach, and ESG efforts as required • Support and manage the delivery of (local) payroll and benefits (across APAC countries) with high accuracy and timeliness • Partner with TA team and hiring managers to support recruitment efforts in region • Facilitate work authorization, visa, relocation, and general mobility in partnership with HR colleagues and immigration partners • Support annual compensation review, salary benchmarking, and market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices and local compliance • Participate in other HR (or business) initiatives and projects regionally or globally as required What you need to thrive: • Good understanding of relevant country labour law(s), HR best practices and employee relations • Strong proficiency working with (& ideally optimizing) with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) – Workday, Oracle experience preferred • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel • Solutions focused mindset; strong desire to learn and drive improvements; passion for helping others succeed and for delivering excellence in employee experience • Impeccable ability to handle confidential information with professional discretion· Self-motivated with an exceptional degree of ethics and professionalism • Superior organization and time management skills with the ability to maintain progress against important deadlines • Ability to use independent judgement and sound decision-making skills in situations that impact project timetables, direction, and outcome • Great team player: works well with internal and external team members and drives execution through collaboration and networking • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment (and work effectively in a matrix, global organization) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization Other Key Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, psychology, employment relations, organisational psychology, law or a related discipline (desired) • Professional HR certification (IHRP, CIPD, SHRM or equivalent) (preferred) • Experience supporting employees across multiple APAC markets, including Singapore (essential) Japan & Thailand ( strongly preferred) • Min. 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including regional APAC responsibility (essential) • Experience in a scaling organisation & also supporting remote/distributed teams) (essential) • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills (essential) • Proficiency in an additional Asian language (e.g., Japanese, Thai, Mandarin or Korean) (preferred) What we can offer you: • Competitive salary, plus strong bonus • Great work location: the Corporate Office is situated in the heart of SGP’s Central Business District • Hybrid working - we require a minimum of 3-4 days in the office per week as standard • Premier Private Medical plan (provided by BUPA – covering medical, dental, vision) for employees plus spouse/long term partner & eligible dependants • 25 days holiday, plus local/public holidays on top • Personal development & growth opportunities – be part of a diverse, global business scaling quickly • Occasional travel (in region) as required & some limited global travel (to US/UK) by exception • Employee must have right to live & work in SGP
