Job Description
Human Resource Intern
We are looking for students who are interested in gaining practical experiences in Human Resource. You will be involved in, and at times leading, a vary of HR projects and tasks. For students that are keen, feel free to send in your application and preferably to share your commitment period.
Location: Singapore
The Human Resource Intern will be providing all-round support to the Human Resource and Office Management team across various HR functions in, but not limited to, recruitment, learning & development and employees’ benefits & welfare.
This internship allows the HR Intern to gain practical experience and developing skills in people communication, situation awareness, critical thinking and practicing empathy.
What you will be doing:
Recruitment
• Be involved in recruitment activities, such as job posting, coordinating of interviews, etc. Engage with the hiring managers on the hiring process.
• Manage the onboarding and offboarding activities of employee’s lifecycle.
Learning & Development
• Administer both internal and external training programs for employees.
• Provide coordination support on in-house training programs.
Employee Benefits & Welfare
• Assist in populating data into the HRM system to generate Leaves. Managing Employee’s leaves via the system.
• Provide advice to employee’s queries relating to medical benefits, leaves and office welfare.
Data and Reports
• Generate reports and analysing HR data for internal stakeholders and Government agencies.
• Create HR user manual, policies and organising presentations.
Office administration, events and management
• Collaborate with Office Community Team members to organise office activities and events.
• Support Office Admin in coordinating regional events and meetings (ie. hotel arrangement, venue liaising, etc.)
• Participate in any ad-hoc regional HR projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree course in Human Resource, Business or related field. Recent graduates looking for internship exposure are welcomed.
• Minimally basic knowledge in HR functions or labour regulations. Prior experience in HR internships is advantageous.
• Passionate in HR
• Strong sense of confidentiality
• Excellence written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Good interpersonal skills; comfortable to communicate with different levels of management.
• Takes initiative with a "can do" attitude.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 3 months of internship period. Longer duration is advantageous.
